- XRP has climbed back above $1.60 and reclaimed a $100 billion market cap as traders weigh a growing number of double-digit price targets.
XRP has returned to levels last seen in February, climbing above $1.60 and pushing its market capitalization back above $100 billion. The move comes as large XRP transactions increase, new wallets are being created, and several crypto market commentators are publishing targets well above the current price.
One of the latest calls comes from crypto commentator Ash Crypto, who has set a $10 target for XRP as part of a broader market outlook. He also listed targets of $250,000 for Bitcoin, $10,000 for Ethereum and $1,000 for Solana, while suggesting some mid-cap cryptocurrencies could gain as much as 20 times from current levels.
What Would XRP at $10 Actually Mean?
XRP is currently trading around $1.60, meaning a move to $10 would require an increase of roughly 525%. CoinMarketCap data shows about 62.88 billion XRP in circulation, putting the token's current market capitalization at roughly $101 billion.
Using today's circulating supply as a reference, an XRP price of $10 would correspond to a market capitalization of approximately $629 billion. This would be more than six times XRP's current market value. The calculation also assumes the circulating supply remains around its current level; changes in supply would alter the implied valuation.
XRP's previous record high is $3.84, according to CoinMarketCap. A move from that record to $10 would therefore require XRP to rise roughly 160% beyond its previous peak.
XRP's Recent Rally Is Backed by Higher Network Activity
The $10 discussion comes as XRP has shown stronger market and network activity. XRP rose nearly 4% over a recent 24-hour period and briefly reached $1.60, according to market data. Trading volume also increased, with about $7.69 billion worth of XRP changing hands over the period.
Santiment data cited in the latest market analysis showed approximately 1,900 transactions worth more than $100,000 during the move, the highest level of high-value transaction activity in about a month. The same data showed 3,647 new wallets created during the period.
The XRP Ledger also had roughly $4.26 billion in tokenized assets and RLUSD balances, according to the same Santiment data. Those figures show increased activity around XRP and its underlying network, but they do not establish that the token will reach any particular future price.
ETF Access Is Expanding
Institutional access is another development surrounding XRP's latest move. Bitwise filed a post-effective amendment for its Bitwise XRP ETF with the US Securities and Exchange Commission on Sept. 18. The filing states that the ETF is listed on NYSE Arca under the ticker XRP and is designed to provide exposure to the value of XRP held by the trust.
The filing does not itself establish how much new capital will enter the XRP market. However, the product provides another regulated exchange-traded vehicle through which investors can obtain exposure to XRP.
Other Analysts Have Published $10 and Higher Targets
Ash Crypto's $10 target is not the only double-digit XRP projection circulating in the market. Crypto Cup published a $10 target on Sept. 22, while Crypto Patel has discussed a target zone around $9.20 to $10. Celal Kucuker has previously discussed a potential $10 XRP price within roughly 11 to 12 months. Zach Rector has also outlined a $5-to-$10 scenario for XRP during 2026.
Irish Red Crypto has taken a different approach, identifying $5.85, $9.37, and $12.90 as Fibonacci-based levels and saying XRP could briefly reach $15 during an especially aggressive market move.
These are separate analyst and commentator views rather than a consensus forecast. The targets also use different assumptions and timeframes, making direct comparisons difficult.
What About XRP at $15 or Even $125?
The upper end of XRP predictions extends considerably beyond $10. Irish Red Crypto has discussed a possible $15 price during what the analyst described as a particularly aggressive market phase, while CharuSan XRP has previously identified $125 as a personal target.
A separate claim involving a potential $1,000 XRP price has also circulated after EasyA co-founder Dom Kwok discussed that level. CharuSan XRP said he considers Kwok's statement credible but did not present the $1,000 figure as his own target or disclose evidence supporting it.
At XRP's current circulating supply, a $125 price would imply a market capitalization of roughly $7.86 trillion, while $1,000 would imply approximately $62.9 trillion. Those calculations illustrate how dramatically the implied valuation changes as price targets move higher.
So, Can XRP Reach $10?
A move to $10 would require XRP to rise about sixfold from its current price and would imply a market capitalization of roughly $629 billion based on today's circulating supply.
The current market provides several measurable developments for XRP, including its return above $100 billion in market capitalization, increased high-value transactions, new wallet creation, and expanding exchange-traded access.
For now, the more concrete question is whether XRP can build on its move above $1.60 and continue setting new highs beyond its previous $3.84 record. A sustained move toward $10 would require substantially higher demand and a much larger market valuation than XRP has today.
