Northview Residential REIT (NRR.UN: TSX) is reshuffling its senior management team, appointing Sarah Walker as chief operating officer (CEO) and Laura Ingram as chief financial officer (COO), effective Nov. 2, 2026, the Canadian residential real estate investment trust said Tuesday.
Walker has served as Northview’s CFO since joining the REIT in 2021. She will move into the COO position, where she is expected to work alongside Linay Freda, Northview’s vice president of operations, according to the company.
Northview said Walker has been involved in several major financial initiatives during her five years with the company, including its 2023 recapitalization, the restructuring of its credit facilities and efforts to reduce leverage. The REIT also credited her with supporting broader strategic initiatives.
Walker’s move into operations will create an opening in the CFO role, which will be filled by Ingram. Northview said Ingram has more than 18 years of senior-level finance experience spanning both private and publicly traded companies.
Before joining Northview, Ingram served as CFO of Tara Energy Services and previously held the same position at Essential Energy. Her responsibilities in those roles covered the companies’ finance functions, according to Northview.
The leadership changes are scheduled to take effect Nov. 2, the company said.
