Top Trending Stocks on Google Today and How They’re Performing

/4 min read
  • Meta, AMD, Intel, Micron, Nvidia, Amazon, and other heavily searched stocks are drawing attention as AI and semiconductor shares lead the latest market move.

Data tracking Google search activity shows Meta Platforms (NASDAQ: META) and Advanced Micro Devices (NASDAQ: AMD) among the biggest increases in search interest over the past 24 hours, while Intel (NASDAQ: INTC), NVIDIA (NASDAQ: NVDA), Micron Technology (NASDAQ: MU) and the Invesco QQQ Trust (NASDAQ: QQQ) are also seeing elevated attention.

Chart showing the top trending stocks on Google

The latest market data shows particularly strong gains in Intel, Meta, AMD and Strategy, while most of the other technology names on the list also finished higher.

The strongest moves are concentrated in AI and semiconductor stocks. Meta jumped more than 11% after investor enthusiasm surrounding its Muse AI agent helped push the stock sharply higher. AMD gained nearly 10% and moved above a $1 trillion market capitalization, while Intel surged more than 12%.

The semiconductor sector was particularly strong, with the Philadelphia Semiconductor Index gaining about 4.3% in Monday's session. ARM Holdings also climbed more than 17%, while Nvidia gained 2.3%. This explains why several of the most searched stocks are connected to the same broader theme: investors are closely watching spending on AI infrastructure, chips and consumer AI products.

Meta stock

Meta was one of the biggest movers on the list, rising 11.43% to $741.25 in Monday's session. The stock was also among the most searched names, with Google search interest rising more than 109% in the latest 24-hour measurement.

The move followed growing attention around Meta's Muse AI product and its potential role in the company's broader AI strategy.

AMD stock

AMD climbed 9.95% to $615.52, pushing its market capitalization above $1 trillion for the first time. The move made AMD the fourth US chipmaker to reach the $1 trillion valuation milestone, following Nvidia, Broadcom and Micron.

AMD has been one of the strongest-performing major semiconductor stocks this year as investors continue to assess demand for AI computing hardware.

Intel stock

Intel was the biggest percentage gainer among the major names on your list, rising 12.14% to $121.78. Its trading volume reached more than 191 million shares, making it one of the market's most actively traded stocks.

Intel's move came alongside the broader semiconductor rally, with investors rotating back into chip stocks as AI-related demand remained a major market theme.

Nvidia and Micron

Nvidia gained 2.30% to $227.38, while Micron rose 2.77% to $1,043.96. Both stocks remain among the most heavily followed technology names, with Nvidia ranking first and Micron second on one current trending-stock tracker based on page views.

Micron's presence is particularly notable because memory demand has become increasingly important to AI data centers.

Amazon and Alphabet

Amazon gained 1.87% to $258.45, while Alphabet Class A (NASDAQ: GOOGL) rose 1.55% to $354.95. Both stocks participated in the broader technology rally but posted smaller gains than Meta, AMD and Intel.

Amazon remains closely watched because of its AWS cloud business and AI infrastructure investments, while Alphabet continues to be one of the largest companies competing across AI models, cloud computing and digital advertising.

Strategy and SpaceX

Strategy (NASDAQ: MSTR) rose 9.47% to $168.50, while Space Exploration Technologies (SPCX) was down 0.56% at $151.85 in the latest market data.

Strategy's move came alongside the rebound in Bitcoin, while SpaceX's shares moved in the opposite direction despite remaining one of the more actively searched names.

What is driving today's stock searches?

The search data and market performance point to three major themes:

Artificial Intelligence (AI): Meta, AMD, Nvidia, Intel and Amazon are all tied to different parts of the AI economy.

Semiconductors: Intel, AMD, Nvidia and Micron all moved higher as the semiconductor sector rallied.

Crypto: Strategy's stock gained alongside Bitcoin, while crypto-related market activity remained elevated.
