SanDisk Price Prediction: Here's What $10,000 in SNDK Stock Might Be Worth by 2030

/4 min read
  • SanDisk has surged more than 600% in 2026, but its new long-term financial targets raise a bigger question: how much could SNDK stock be worth by 2030?

SanDisk (NASDAQ: SNDK) has become one of the stock market's biggest AI-related winners in 2026, but the scale of the rally has made its 2030 valuation increasingly difficult to assess. SNDK closed at $1,887.04 on Sept. 22, after rising 6.82% during the session. The stock has traded as high as $2,354.39 over the past year, according to market data.

At $1,887.04, a $10,000 investment would buy approximately 5.30 shares before commissions and taxes. What those shares could be worth in 2030 depends heavily on whether SanDisk can maintain the unusually high margins it is currently generating.

What Is SanDisk Worth Today?

SanDisk's fiscal 2026 results show how dramatically the business has changed. The company generated $20.25 billion in fiscal 2026 revenue, up 175% from the previous year. Datacenter revenue increased 437%, while fourth-quarter revenue reached $8.97 billion, up 51% sequentially.

SanDisk also expects another substantial jump in the current fiscal year. The company guided for fiscal first-quarter 2027 revenue of $10.3 billion to $10.8 billion and adjusted earnings of $44 to $46 per share. The improvement has been driven by stronger NAND pricing and growing demand from data centers, including applications tied to artificial intelligence.

SanDisk's 2030 Targets Are Aggressive

At its August investor day, SanDisk laid out a financial framework covering fiscal 2028 through fiscal 2030. Management expects revenue to grow at a mid-to-high teens annual rate, while targeting adjusted gross margins of approximately 80%, adjusted operating margins of about 75%, and adjusted free-cash-flow margins near 50%.

SanDisk also said its New Business Model agreements with eight customers represent roughly half of expected bits in fiscal 2027 and about two-thirds in fiscal 2028. The company argues that those contracts should provide greater visibility into future demand.

The question for investors is whether those targets can survive the next downturn in the notoriously cyclical NAND market. SanDisk's gross margin was only 16.1% in fiscal 2024 before rising to 71.5% in fiscal 2026, illustrating how quickly profitability can change as memory prices move through the cycle.

What Could $10,000 in SNDK Be Worth by 2030?

Using the Sept. 22 closing price of $1,887.04, $10,000 would purchase about 5.30 shares. The following scenarios show what that investment would be worth at different 2030 SNDK prices: Chart showing possible SanDisk SNDK stock prices by 2030 and value of a $10,000 investment by then

Please note that these are illustrative calculations, not forecasts. They also exclude dividends, taxes, fees, and any effect from future share-count changes.

One recent long-term analysis published by The Motley Fool put a wide 2030 range on the stock, from roughly $1,100 in a weaker memory-cycle scenario to about $3,400 if SanDisk's long-term financial model holds and investors continue assigning a strong valuation to its cash flow. The analysis described the low-$2,000s as its own central expectation, rather than a Wall Street consensus.

What Could Drive SNDK Higher?

The strongest argument for a higher valuation is the growth of AI-related data-center storage. SanDisk's data center revenue reached $5.2 billion in fiscal 2026, compared with $960 million in fiscal 2025 and $325 million in fiscal 2024.

The company is also developing High Bandwidth Flash, or HBF, technology aimed at emerging AI inference workloads. SanDisk says the technology could address growing memory requirements associated with AI systems.

If AI infrastructure continues driving NAND demand while SanDisk maintains pricing power, the company's 2030 financial targets could provide a substantially larger earnings and cash-flow base than it had before the current memory upcycle.

The Biggest Risk to the 2030 Forecast

The main uncertainty is the memory cycle. SanDisk's recent profitability has benefited from rapidly rising prices, and a reversal in NAND pricing could put significant pressure on margins. The company's own 80% gross-margin target is therefore an important assumption behind any bullish long-term valuation.

The New Business Model agreements may provide more visibility than traditional spot-market memory sales, but they have not yet been tested through a full industry downturn. Naturally, it leaves a wide range of possible outcomes for SNDK by 2030.

At a $2,000 share price, today's $10,000 investment would be worth roughly $10,600. At $3,000, it would be worth about $15,900, while a move to $3,400 would put the position near $18,000. Conversely, a decline to $1,100 would reduce the original $10,000 investment to roughly $5,800.
